Physical Incubation

Companies selected in this program will have structured and targeted mentoring, third-party service provider access, funding support, hand-on guidance and access to a global network of co-founders, mentors, investors, and services providers for the duration of incubation period.

AIC-NIFIE will provide an office space for startups having following facilities:

• Air-conditioned office Space – Closed cabins to perform office work related to startup journey, business development and entrepreneurial activities. The office space is primarily intended for start-up companies.
• Electrical power connections
• Free Wireless internet connectivity through a IIM Mumbai leased circuit

The support will be in terms of advice, referrals, access to AIC-NIFIE’s services, mentor network, and funding schemes. In addition to the above, the startups will be considered as fully incubated with AIC-NIFIE and they can use AIC-NIFIE’s logo for their visibility.

The program will focus on specific support as follows:

1. Advice will be provided on areas of:
   1. Idea validation,
   2. Technology assessment,
   3. Customer Discovery,
   4. Business Plan (Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas) preparation,
   5. Financial Planning
2. Explore possibilities of grants and funding for the startups at their current stage.

AIC-NIFIE will support the founder and startup team in following aspects:

1. Business mentoring for the business planning
2. Guidance in applying for various grants
3. Access to Patent attorneys and patent filing organizations
4. Access to company formation organizations
5. Access to networking and other events of AIC-NIFIE for startups

Program duration

The program duration will be one year initially and can be extended on request for additional one year.
