Managerial Decision Making

Decision making is both an exciting and demanding challenge - never more so than in today's competitive, uncertain, and rapidly shifting business environment. Yet most managers make decisions within the boundaries of their own functional area, often with limited visibility into how decisions made elsewhere in the organisation interact with and influence their own.

This programme addresses that gap. Designed around a cross-disciplinary approach, Managerial Decision-Making offers participants a holistic view of how consequential decisions are made — and should be made — across the full spectrum of organisational functions, from operations and finance to marketing, technology, environment, and people management.

The programme recognises that effective decision-making today is no longer intuition alone. It is increasingly aided by quantitative tools, analytical frameworks, and data-driven insights. At the same time, most significant decisions carry economic implications that extend beyond the immediate functional context. Participants will therefore develop both the analytical rigour and the broader environmental awareness needed to navigate complex, high-stakes decisions with confidence.

By the end of the programme, participants will leave with a structured, integrative understanding of managerial decision making — equipped to think beyond their functional silo and act with clarity in a dynamic and challenging business world.

  • The programme employs a multi-modal pedagogy including:

    • Expert lectures by senior faculty
