Leadership Redefined: Essential Skills for the Tech-Disrupted Future

As a leader, how do you know which disruptive technologies will lead to breakout performance versus those that will just consume resources without a payoff? This takes big-picture thinking and astute leadership as well as change management skills that will enable the team to ride along the disruptive technology curve.

In this offering, the participants will learn about emerging disruptive technologies, their impact and leveraging these technologies to support the organization’s vision. The program will also cover how to design frameworks for implementation of these technologies, while also discussing the ethics and risks of AI in business management. The program is designed to have several interdependent modules that will give a holistic overview of essential leadership and change management skills in the context of disruptive technologies.

Though it comes from within, such transformational leadership often requires a catalyst. And for many business leaders, IIM Mumbai has been that catalyst. Here, you’re fully immersed in a transformational learning experience, networking with executives from different domains, and engaging in programs led by experienced IIM Mumbai faculty. It’s a holistic experience that will enrich your career—and your life.

Pedagogy :

The delivery of the programme will be face to face. The delivery of the programme will include cases, lectures, discussions, presentations, audio-visuals, experiential exercises, leaderboards and simulations, where necessary.  Further, the programme accentuates a problem solving and an action learning approach. This emphasizes  the process of defining the problem, objective setting, developing, evaluating and choosing alternative courses of action under uncertain or information asymmetric conditions as also organizing people, motivating and finally measuring and controlling their performance .

The participants may be required to do prior case reading, use simulations and work in groups, think  critically and provide feedback to each other.
