International Public Contracting and Trade

This programme aims to equip participants with knowledge about how international public contracts either with local funding or with funding from World Bank/ADB etc are finalised. FIDIC and INCOTERMS will be explained. Case study on international logistics will bring out the importance of marine insurance and difficulty in finalisation of insurance claim.

 

 

This MDP will explain the difference in finalisation process of government contract when they are funded by domestic funding and by multi-lateral funding agencies like WB/ADB etc. It will bring out the impact of Make in India policy as well as the impact of multilateral trade agreements under WTO on contract finalisation. How contract conditions under NITI Aayog/ Ministry of Finance and FIDIC conditions of contract differentially impact the contract execution.

  2. Refund policy

    Fees once paid can be adjusted for 1 financial year against future nominations only. In case a course is canceled on account of inadequate participation or any other unforeseeable reasons, the participants will be informed of the cancellation by e-mail or Fax and the fee will be refunded. IIM Mumbai will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by the company or the participant. Any transaction fee will not be refunded.
