The Two-Year Postgraduate Executive Programme (MBA) in Media & Entertainment is a specialized management programme designed to develop strategic leaders and entrepreneurs for the fast-evolving media, entertainment, and digital industries. It combines business management fundamentals with domain-specific knowledge across film, television, digital media, music, gaming, and event management — preparing participants for leadership roles in creative and corporate environments.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria defined below:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks, or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or the State Legislature in India, or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Candidates should submit a valid CAT score.
Shortlisted candidates will participate in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by IIM Mumbai and WWI faculty members.
The final selection list will be announced accordingly.

The selection process usually consists of:
- Online Application Submission (including Statement of Purpose and Resume)

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email regarding interview schedules and results.
The in-campus component at IIM Mumbai and the WWI campus shall comprise seven modules. Each module (Modules 1-3 and 5-7) will offer several courses, for a total of 18 credits and covering a total of 180 hours of instruction. The fourth module will cover a total of 60 hours of an industry-relevant internship project. The students will do the capstone project of six credits (covering 60 hours) over the 5th to 7th module. Thus, the overall campus components will be 120 credits, covering a total of 1200 program hours.
The programme follows a blended learning model, combining on-campus sessions (for key modules, workshops, and networking) with live online classes for theoretical and managerial components.
In-person classes will be conducted at the IIM Mumbai & WWI campus.
Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a “Postgraduate Executive MBA in Media & Entertainment” by IIM Mumbai, signifying advanced managerial proficiency in the creative and entertainment sector.
