My journey in the PGDEx-VLFM program at IIM Mumbai and IIT Delhi has been transformative and truly life-changing. Prior to joining VLFM, I worked in the manufacturing industry across various domains, including Operations and Supply Chain. The PGDEx-VLFM program provided the ideal platform for me to deepen my knowledge in these areas while gaining valuable insights into current industry trends. The curriculum is meticulously designed to enhance general management skills such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, AI and Machine Learning, and Sustainability, alongside comprehensive expertise in Core Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Strategy.
This experience has significantly impacted my career, broadening my understanding of management and supply chain, while also allowing me to develop my networking and interpersonal skills. I am deeply grateful to the entire IIM Mumbai community for the invaluable experience I had at the institute.
If I had to describe PGDEx-VLFM in one word, it would be “Transformational.” This unique programme, offered by IIM Mumbai and IIT Delhi, reshaped how I think, lead, and create impact.
The exceptional faculty, combining academic brilliance with industry expertise, brought real-world scenarios into the classroom. Each case-based session felt like a masterclass in solving complex, real-world challenges. Collaborating with a diverse cohort further enriched my learning, helping me approach problems from fresh perspectives.
Today, in my role managing supply chain across Europe and the Middle East, I consistently draw on the confidence and strategic mindset instilled by this programme. PGDEx-VLFM isn’t just a course—it’s a launchpad for those ready to lead and make a difference.
The PGDEx VLFM journey at NITIE and IIT Delhi didn't just enhance my skills; it transformed me into a leader who seamlessly combines industry know-how with cutting-edge technologies. After spending six years in the industry, opting for PGDEx VLFM surpassed my expectations. The program, with its collaborative industry environment and the diverse VLFM5 batch, not only opened the exciting career paths but also nurtured my personal growth. The experience at these prestigious institutes weren't just about academics—it was a journey marked by the wisdom of the faculty and ample opportunities for upskilling. With confidence, I believe that the value and experiences gained here will resonate profoundly throughout my entire career.
Before joining the VLFM program, I had amassed seven years of work experience in various domains of the supply chain. My goal was to learn top-notch techno-managerial and leadership skills from world-class teachers and a diverse cohort. Today, having completed my coursework and joined one of the highest-rated supply chain industries, I can confidently say that the program equipped me with decision-making confidence, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of the supply chain domain. Without this program, I may not have had the opportunity to fulfil these goals.
Straight out of India's two prestigious Institutions, the program is crafted to serve India's needs. The perfect blend of technology and management, and learnings from India's best Faculties helps students hone their all-around capabilities.
With my background and passion for Supply Chain, it was an easy decision for me to go with the "Mecca of Supply Chain". Having a diverse cohort made me realize that even the sky is not the limit. The biggest takeaway for me was learning of "How a CEO would perceive any problem, bridging all the silos of multiple departments in an organization" and that makes a whole lot of difference for someone who has chosen to learn to be a "Visionary Leader".
If I had to put one word for the program, I would say it's a "Leap Beyond"
Joining PGDEx-VLFM was a pivotal moment in my career. It opened doors to diverse domains like Operations and Consulting, ultimately leading me to a fulfilling role in policy advocacy. This journey has enabled me to make a meaningful impact on the growth and development of the Indian Automobile Industry, transforming my professional trajectory in remarkable ways.
