NITIE has been in the forefront of Executive Education since 1960s which was started as a collaborative effort of International Labour Organization (ILO) and Government of India. Over the years, NITIE has evolved into an Institute of higher learning and has started Post Graduate Education in the field of Industrial Engineering, Management, Environmental Management, Manufacturing Management and Project Management.
NITIE believes that every organization goes through various challenges in the business environment and hence needs to keep pace with by adopting latest concepts and techniques. To meet this requirement NITIE offers Executive Education under three categories viz.
- short term programme
- company specified programmes
- Long term (up to 1 year) training programmes
Each of these categories of programmes are designed, keeping in mind the various techno-managerial aspects that needs to be addressed by the organizations. These programmes conducted by NITIE are based on the knowledge and experience gained by the faculty through their active involvement in consulting and applied research projects.
The focus of these programme is typically the training needs of different organizations across different functional areas, design these programmes considering the latest techniques and concepts in the field of management. Further, the programmes helps the organisations to achieve improve productivity through applications of knowledge to the real life problems of the organizations.
