Welcome to the PhD Programme at IIM Mumbai

Scholars enrolled in the Doctoral Programme at IIM Mumbai are systematically groomed to analyse complex phenomena, policies, and practices through a rigorous, multi-disciplinary lens. The programme nurtures a methodical, evidence-based, and ethically grounded research temperament, enabling scholars to critically examine existing knowledge, generate original insights, and contribute meaningfully to policy formulation and institutional best practices aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

At the same time, the Ph.D. journey is designed to develop outstanding scholars capable of producing internationally benchmarked, impactful research in management and allied disciplines.
