Infrastructural Support

NITIE believes that its students are the cream of the student community and they deserve the best. The infrastructure support it provides to the students is a just expression of this belief.

Auditorium

NITIE houses an acoustically designed, fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200. The auditorium is used for regular lectures, research and scholarly presentations, extramural lectures, industry events, and other academic and community activities. It is used daily for screening management films, tapes and CD/DVDs for Management Development Programmes. NITIE also has a well-equipped Audio-Visual Centre that maintains multimedia resources (films, CD/DVDs, etc.), produces multimedia lectures and presentations, and broadcasts events over the Web.

Hostels

PGDIM, PGDIE, PGDSM are residential programmes and staying in the hostel helps develop group dynamics amongst the students and broadens their socio-cultural horizons. The hostels are really one of the best in the country. All rooms are well furnished single occupancy with attached bathrooms.

Recreational Facilities

Facilities for various sports are available in the campus. Two badminton courts are housed in the Sports Complex which can be used for informal students' functions as well. NITIE grounds are equipped for Football, Volleyball and Athletic events. Floodlit courts for Basketball and Tennis ensure that students can use these late in the evening as well. Indoor equipment for Table Tennis, Chess and Carom are available in all hostels. Spending time leisurely and relaxing are some of the methods of relieving stress. Common rooms in the hostels take care of this need with good music systems, television and light reading material. Besides, throughout the year NITIE students organize numerous business festivities, intercollegiate contests, industry round-tables and socio-cultural events. These activities are especially designed so as to play a central role in the budding managers' personal and professional growth while providing them the arena within the campus to exercise their youthful creative energies to the fullest.
