Prasad studied commerce subjects, holds a doctoral degree in OB Area. Teaching experience includes working at Osmania University, Hyderabad, Administrative Staff College of India ( ASCI) Hyderabad, XLRI Jamshedpur etc.
Professional interests include Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Culture, Student Startups, Entrepreneurial pedagogies in higher education. Proud to share that hundreads of students who took to the pedagogy of Learning by Earning emerged as ENTERPRENEURs. Let me declare that Unicorns like Polygon by Sandeep Nehliwal, Deal Share by Sourjendu, Square Yards by Vivek Agarwal are Prof Prasad students . There are many more student enteprises to his credit Cashify, Lal10, Vaave, Kisan Kirana , Zyka Ka Thadka, Free Ka Maal, Anaxee, Magenta, Quiffers, Mens Crew , Crop wheel, 1KKirana, Dagdh Dhara, Darwin Tech, He has written journal articles in the area of workplace redesign, change, innovation and organizational politics, and presented research papers in several international seminars. His contributions for innovations in management teaching are Mandi, NITIE Dabbawallas, Shanthi Mandi etc.,
Over the last 15 years, he has managed numerous Institute-industry collaborative projects. In the latter capacity, he has worked in collaboration with a number of corporates and government departments to advise them in the areas like organizational redesign and improvements and management development. These organizations include Reliance, BEL , ITI Bangalore, Zensar, Satyam, Kribhco etc.

Creating an entrepreneurial pedagogy called Maha Mandi ( Sell – Think – Learn) which is popular across Indian higher education institutions and students.
He was instrumental in establishing NITIE Center for Student Startups with the financial support of DST – NSTEDB Govt of India.
