Dr. Vijaya Kumar Manupati is currently an Assistant Professor in the Operations and Supply Chain division at NITIE, Mumbai. Before joined in NITIE, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal. He earned his doctorate in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2014. His research interests include Intelligent manufacturing systems, Cyber-Physical Systems, Prognostics and Diagnostics of Manufacturing Systems, Sustainable and Resilient Supply Chains, and Health care systems. He has published more than 100+ publications which include 30+ peer-reviewed articles which include prestigious Journals like Transportation research part- E, CIRP-Annals Manufacturing Technology, International Journal of Production Research, Computers and Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing, etc. and 40+ International Conference papers, 20+ Book chapters and edited 5 books. His h-index is 14 with an i-10 index of 17. He is acting as an international reviewer for more than 30+ peer-reviewed Journals. Currently, he is acting as an Editorial Review Board member of International Journal of Sustainable Entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility, International Journal of Web Portals, and special issue editor of International Journal of Advanced Operations Management. He received Grants from Department of Science and Technology (DST), and a recipient of Young Engineers Award from Institute of Engineers India. He is a member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering (IISE), Institute of Engineers (IEI) India, Life member of International Association of Engineers, US and also acting as a technical and scientific committee member of various International conferences.
