Partition Horrors Remembrance Day

In observance of Partition Horrors Remembrance Day (August 14th, 2024), IIM Mumbai showcased a Hindi play “Wo Bhi Kya Din They”. Students of Thespians Drama Club- #Akash Gautam, #Abhineet Singh, #Indrajeet Dutta played the amazing main leads. #Debarati Chakraborty, #Ritoja Sen, #Anshika Rai and #Praveen Dharmak effectively handled the backstage operations. They adapted the play originally written by Deepak Khurana and brought to life the stories of pain, loss, and resilience experienced during the partition of India. This play not only reminded us of the largest displacement of human population in the last century but also honored the memories of those who endured unimaginable suffering. Through their powerful enactment, the performers conveyed this day's emotional and historical significance, leaving the audience deeply moved and reflective.
