CELEBRATION OF HINDI FORTNIGHT - 2023
IIM Mumbai celebrated Hindi Fortnight from 14th September to 29th September 2023. Essay writing, Cross Word Puzzles, Questionnaires (About office), Noting Writing, Hindi Stenography, Hindi Typing, Photo Story Writing, reciting of Self-written Poetry, Legible Handwriting, Dictation Competitions etc. were organized on this occasion for Faculty Members, Officers, Staff and Student in which so many participants were won the prizes.
The valedictory function of Hindi Fortnight was organized on 17th November 2023. On this occasion, the prizes and letters of appreciation to the winners of various Hindi competitions were distributed by the Chief guest Dr. Sushmita Bhattacharya, Deputy Director (Implementation), Western Region Office, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language, Govt. of India and Dean (Faculty Affairs), IIM Mumbai.
Dr. Sushmita Bhattacharya congratulated the winners of the competitions of Hindi fortnight and appreciated all for their regular use of Hindi. She expressed his views on various aspects related to compliance of the official language implementation in government offices.
Prof. Shirish Sangle, Dean (Faculty Affairs), IIM Mumbai appreciated the Officers and the staff of the Institute for using Hindi in their work and congratulated the winners of the competitions of Hindi Fortnight. On behalf of the Director, he also expressed his commitment to propagate the use of the Official Language Hindi in the Institute.
Md. Aftab Alam, Hindi Officer conducted the program successfully and proposed vote of thanks.
VALEDICTORY FUNCTION OF HINDI FORTNIGHT - 2022
IIM Mumbai celebrated Hindi Fortnight from 14th September to 29th September 2022. Essay writing, Memory Power, Cross Word Puzzle, Questionnaire (About office), Debate, Noting Writing, Hindi Stenography, Hindi Typing, Photo Story Writing, reciting of Self-written Poetry,Legible Handwriting, Dictation Competition etc. were organised on this occasion for Faculty Members, Officers, Staff and Student in which so many participants were won the prizes.
The valedictory function of Hindi Fortnight, and Hasya Kavi Sammelan were organised on 16th November 2022 at ALB and the prizes and letters of appreciation to the winners of various Hindi competitions were distributed by the chief guest, Dean (Faculty Affairs) and Registrar of the Institute.
At the valedictory function and Hasya Kavi Sammelan, Chief guest Shri Sunil Pal, Hasya Kavi and Stand up Comedian congratulated the winners of the competitions of Hindi fortnight and appreciated all for their regular use of Hindi. He mesmerized the audience with his comic-satire poems and Stand up comedy.

The Institute celebrates 14th September every year as Hindi Day and organised Hindi Fortnight in which various competitions i.e. Questionnaire, General Knowledge / Science, Dictation, Noting writing, Memory Power, Vocal Recital Competition, Hindi Typing, Hindi Stenography, Self-written Poetry, Debate, See & Write Legibly, Essay Writing, etc. are organized for Faculty, Officers, Staff and Students.
The winners of various competitions are honoured by Chief Guest. Also, the prizes under IIM Mumbai Hindi Incentive Schemes for doing official work in Hindi are awarded with Cash prizes.
